Erstwhile Composite State of Andhra is now divided. Telangana State has Hyderabad, the crown Jewel city and Andhra will make a new Capital, Amaravati.
All know of Hyderabad as Cyberabad, once the Hqrs of Satyam and now, Tech Mahindra. But the Architects of Modern Hyderabad are the visionary CMs – Chandra Babu Naidu and Late Dr. Rajasekhar Reddy…. undoubtedly amongst India’s Best CMs.
People know of this city for IT but it has developed an equally important Pharma industry, with excellent Infrastructure for Research like at IKP Research in Genome valley.
Nothing to beat the entrepreneurial spirit of the Andhra Farmer, today probably one of the Country’s best. He is a natural learner, adopter of Technology and loves to buy land. They never will part with Agri land.
Around Hyderabad, most villages grew grapes but Farmers found it unremunerative. Helped by Agricultural extension, training by Agri Input Companies and the all powerful Mobile phones, farmers like Venkanna quickly changed to vegetable farming.
Jugaad technology is all pervasive. Venkanna has converted his Maruti 800 car to a delivery van by removing back seats. He brings his farm produce himself and sells to Reliance or any Agent, who gives him the best price. He makes a profit of one lakh per acre and he has seven acres land.
This is Modern India, the changing India. More jobs will be created by better Skill Development. Let us all support Building of an India…. the Rule of Law way…. the Ethical way…. the SEEGOS way.
