And for a Friday …….. amidst the continuing Ukraine & Palestine conflict & Global uncertainties …. some thoughts … some musings…….
Trade wars … import duties & overall unpredictability has slowed down the world economy ….. some of the poorer & underdeveloped economies of the Global South who depend on traditional commodity exports or suffer food shortages & dependent on international financial & medical aid are under huge crisis …. these are either underreported or ignored in the cacophony of the conflicts of the Rich & Super Powers ……the result … a constant struggle & endeavour by its citizens to escape hunger & oppression to anywhere …. to a better place offering some hope & solace …. no matter what & how grave the risks involved are ………
India is an Oasis of serenity & economic growth …… blessed by the forecast & onset of a good Monsoon , the falling Oil prices & a weakening Dollar …. .. ofcourse there are issues … ofcourse there are problems & as the largest functioning Democracy of 1.4 billion people of all religions speaking 22 official languages & more than 220 non official .. with diverse cultures & food habits …. there are many ….many issues , contradictions & challenges to be confronted ….. but the Nation has the capability …… the 150 mn poor people of India are provided free food grains & other rations ….. no one need to go hungry …the women in rural & urban households of the marginalised & economically challenged get monthly cash subsidies ….. almost every Political party in power in their own states run various welfare schemes ….. including free public transport … free electricity… free education … free mid-day meals for school kids ….. the miracle of India is all these coexist with some of the cutting edge technologies of the world with thousands of “Start-Ups”…….hundreds of Unicorns & many Global Competency centres catering to R&D & Productivity measures be it AI ,ML,IOT … to almost every Global MNC in one form or other …….
Let us count our blessings …. India’s time has come …. Let each of us support the path to a Developed Nation … the hard-working way …. the non-corrupt way ….. the SEEGOS way.
