barefoot_in_the_parkSome thoughts for a Friday in Freiberg in Germany with the Indo-German Delegation.

I have always believed that Germany and India are natural partners; these two countries are connected by history and in the next two decades will become the most influential globally, outside of US.

Freiberg, in the province of Baden Wurttemberg, has the highest per capita income, lowest unemployment (less than 2{aff5a224634bf574f692c8c7d068a0713fecca4ea38a30d3005107227dbb12e7}) and practices the best principles of Sustainable Development.

Most young people and university students are all using cycles; whilst Germany manufactures the most luxurious cars, Freiberg roads have more “Smart” cars.

Nursery Kids are encouraged to play and walk around without shoes and dirty their little hands in mud, just to ensure they grow in contact with Nature. No wonder Mayor Dr. Saloman was re-elected for a third term.

The city of Freiberg, as is the rest of Germany, are now preparing for “Industrie 4.O” – the Fourth level of Industrialisation.

The First level – Mechanical breakthrough – Steam Engines
The second level – Flow Products – The discovery of Motors
Third level – Complex Controls & calculations – Computers
Forth level – Digitalisation-Cloud Computing -Disruptive Technology etc. etc.

All said and done, the biggest differentiator is the German commitment to the Rule of Law, to Values and Principles, Ethics and Governance …the SEEGOS way….
