And for a Friday in Germany with the Indo German Delegation….. some thoughts…..

IGCC-President-Thomas Fuhrmann & Vice-President -Sunil Mathur
Germany never ceases to surprise me on every visit, with its advancement in Technology and Manufacturing Excellence based on its solid foundation of the Dual Vocational Education System, fantastic network of the Global German Chambers, the Mittlestand ( Small and Medium ) Enterprisees and the budget’s of 10-20{aff5a224634bf574f692c8c7d068a0713fecca4ea38a30d3005107227dbb12e7} of turnover of each company to Research and Development. Almost unbeatable combination.
At the IGCC AGM in Cologne, interest in India was evident given the Global volatility. With the US move towards more and more protectionalism, Germany assumes even more significance for India. We are natural allies and must develop a new Model for the emerging World order. I believe we CAN, in the next decade. The largest Democracy of the World and the largest Technology based Exporter of the World – what a Combination.
The core of the German success is the Vocational Dual Education System at the Rolls Royce Jet engine Factory in Dahlewitz. We saw Young trainees and interns – they start from School at age 16 or so – work hands on, go back to classes to learn the theories and back to production site. In 5-10 years you have trained specialists, absolutely hands on. Of course some of the brightest then go on to University Education.
E-GO Mobile Ag is a perfect example of the advantage of the Excellent Research, Industry, University cooperation and coordination that one Automobile Prof gets 20 colleagues, develops a product in the University Campus and within 30 months, is launching the Electric car in July this year at just 15,000 Euros.
With our young bright professionals, our large domestic markets and our Digitisation success, let’s all work together to make India a developed Country, the Scientific way, the Ethical way, the SEEGOS Way.
