Vishu for Mallus is the New Year, coincides with the New Year across the Country…. Baishakhi, Bihu, Poilo Boishee and just concluded Ugadhi, Gudi Padva. Mallus pray at Lord Vishnu Temple and Lord Krishna.
Vishu speciality is the Vishukanni, a very beautifully decorated Pooja room with Laburnum Flowers and Fruits from the most recent harvest from our farm. Mallus keep the Vishukanni, wherever they are, our Family in Milwaukee, Bangalore, Dallas, Mumbai, Trivandrum, all being reminded of the Roots in Agriculture, in Kerala.

The Netradhama Eye Hospital in Jayanagar…. absolutely superb…. literally. I walked in at 8.30 am and walked out at 11.30 am, all fine and dusted.
