India has signed more than 20 FTAs & CEPAs with many countries including the UK , Australia , UAE, ASEAN etcetc ……: but their CEPA ( Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement) with Japan followed by this FTA with EU is a huge Game changer for India who is the soon to be third largest Economy behind the two combative Super Economies of US & China ……India has a very crucial & critical role as a reliable “ Balancer” for the Emerging New World Order ……… The Canadian PM -Mark Carney in the most globally admired speech at Davos had declared that the Rule based Global Order is not just reshuffling or reordering but has “ Ruptured” & the countries are now exposed to the “ Vagaries of the International Order” …….. a very significant tectoral shift in which India as the World’s largest Democracy , with 1.4 Bn population with a median age of 29 …..with more than 2.5 mn STEM graduates passing out every year …. an unparalleled digital public Infrastructure & a GDP growth of 7% ……has the unique capability to be the Bridge & hope for the Global South …….of Middle Income , developing & poor nations to be treated with equanimity & on mutually respectful basis…….
India-EU FTA has been heralded by Ursulla Von Der Leyen -President of the European Commission who is of German Origin as “ Mother of all Trade Deals “ ….. due to the far reaching Economic & Geopolitical changes this will bring to India ….. just a few days before the FTA was finalised German Chancellor Fredrick Merz had visited India & many major bilateral decisions made ……. last week BASF Germany main Board led by Chairman Markus Kamieth had held its first Global Board meeting in India …… the company announced establishment of a Global Digital Hub in Hyderabad which will be a Centre of Digital expertise that delivers standardised digital services at scale to BASF’s businesses world wide …….this landmark EU -India FTA will herald some pathbreaking opportunities for Indians in Aerospace ….Green Hydrogen …Modular Nuclear reactors …Water Management ….Submarine & Ship building ….APIs for Pharma ..,,chip technology … sustainable agriculture etcetc…… many many areas of mutually beneficial & globally relevant businesses at scale ……..:
The World is changing ….. Our young Professionals are in great demand in Japan , Europe , Middle East & across the World countries are changing immigration policies to attract Indians …… let’s support the emerging New Global Order ….. the involved way …. The ethical way ….. the SEEGOS way.
