And for a Friday as the almost dormant and receding Covid-19 again raises alarm in India, some thoughts….. some musings…..
There is no doubt China originated the dreaded Covid Virus in 2019 in its labs in Wuhan. What is not yet known is, who else was involved in funding the research and the murky role of WHO from the very beginning of this tragic Covid episode and the consequent loss of life the world over. The current situation in China is shrouded with half truths. But make no mistake; with a failed Chinese vaccine, refusal to use other foreign vaccines and the strict following of “Zero-Tolerance” Covid policy, which the whole world knew is not sustainable, China has landed itself in crisis, leading to mutations and most unfortunately may have led to the ugly second rise of the infection worldwide.
The situation in India is nothing to be alarmed or to panic. But surely there is danger lurking around. So let’s get back to CAB (Covid Appropriate Behaviour). I don’t think any adult in India has to lectured now, on what needs to be done. Let’s face it. Most are fully vaccinated including the booster dose. Most have been infected (known or sometimes even unknown). At some stage in the last three years, the intensity, side affects and with great pain suffering the loss of near and dear ones, notwithstanding, let us not be fooled again by the Big-Pharma Global lobby or the few corrupt Babus and sleazy business men in India who convert every crisis to profiteer at the cost of the common man. Yes the BF-7 variant reported in China has been detected in 4 cases in the country. Hence we need to take precautions of all incoming foreign passengers. Let’s realise that whilst in our country, Covid was steadily declining to average 158 cases a week, globally it is more than 5.9 lakh average daily cases. So every visitor and those travelling on holidays must take the needed precautions and adopt the very well known CAB.
The most potent danger is from the infamous “WhatsApp” University, wherein all kinds of nonsense is bundled and recirculated to create panic and worry. Every one forwards this nonsense to ten others and within hours, crisis is created, where none exists. So let’s be vigilant, the CAB way, the knowledgeable way, the SEEGOS way.
