And for a Friday …….of a week of even greater Global uncertainties ……accentuated by Ukraine war ….. some thoughts …. some musings …..
If there is one country which can uniquely handle chaos … uncertainties & still carry on with BAU ( Business As Usual) ….. it is India & facing unpredictability seems to come naturally to Indians ……given the current Global Tariff war , Indo-US relations may appear to be at its lowest ebb …. but… people to people ……..friends ….Sons& Daughters to their Parents , Uncles , Aunts & to their own Towns & villages are unbreakable between the Worlds largest & oldest Democracies …….every such crisis is also an opportunity for our Governments & Babus particularly at State & District Headquarters to immediately relook at the Indian Business Eco system with its 1536 Acts & Rules & 69,233 Compliances & 6618 monthly & yearly filings to various Govt authorities at different levels …….this translates into very stifling & extremely difficult conditions particularly for our Medium & Small scale manufacturing Companies & owners who are strangled by the Corruption unleashed by some of these obsolete rules & regulations which mostly gets obliterated with greasing some palms…….. Ofcourse one understands Democracy needs Political parties & politicians need money …. But like rest of the World …..let there be transparent measures to collect money by Politicians…. the current Tariff crisis is a great opportunity ……let every Chief Secretary of every State & every District Collector revisit how Corruption can be minimised within their jurisdictions …….
Let us not forget India has huge opportunities to continue to grow at the current 6-7 % …… given some big ticket items ……..like Elon Musk’s Starlink having got license to operate LEOC ( Low earth Orbit Constellations) & India’s ISRO capacity to launch lowest cost satellites ……this will revolutionise WiFi connectivity in villages & far flung small towns …….With its 42 UNESCO Heritage sites ……. combined with its rich Cultural , Adventure, Beaches, Medical , Wildlife, Spiritual Yoga etc etc …. Tourism can get a massive boost …… & make up for other losses …… & not to forget our mainstay -Indian Agriculture ……High Impact Precision farming supported by Agri Tech Start-ups & FPOs ( Farmer Producer Organisation ) can explode Indian Agri productivity to export surplus Food & other Agri produce to all of Africa , Asia & Europe in the next five years …… India can attract Capital from all over the World & Indian Stock Markets will see a major “Rating revision” ……. the demographic & Tech driven Digital advantages will chug the Indian Engine forward ….. raising balance BPL of 150 mn poor people towards lower middle class & enhance the Purchasing power of our Country …..
Let us all pledge to support the growth of India by participating in reducing Corruption at all levels …….. the Sustainable way …. the Legal way …. the SEEGOS way.
