If Germany is the World leader in Hitech Manufacturing, then Iceland is the number one in High End Adventure Tourism. Iceland the land of the opposites…. Fire and Ice.
Unbelievable, how a small country colonised by Norway gained Independence in 1944 – almost like India. But the Icelanders’ tremendous spirit, inspite of the Economic crash of 2008, have made Iceland one of the Most Developed and high HDI countries in the World.
Converting every disadvantage and Danger into an Adventure sport by providing World class Safety equipment and Systems – Snowmobiling on Glaciers, boating in lagoons amidst giant blue tinged icebergs, Giant waterfalls, Volcano trekking etc. etc.
The Thrihnukagigur Volcano crater, one of the 20 “Must see before you die ” sites of the World, is the deepest formation of Volcano in the World and offers a view of the Womb of Mother Earth…. bottom Rocks…. you can touch Rocks that are more than 50,000 years old.
Iceland tours are expensive – for 20 minutes in the hollow of Volcano crater….. ooooff….. 1000 dollars for a couple.
Iceland is undoubtedly most Scenic and Green Energy Country, but has one strange Rule. Every time you use the Sauna or want to Swim in the Geothermal Spas, a Security Police stands guard in the Wash rooms to ensure you bathe in the Nude with Soap before you put on your Swimming trunks….. could be embarrassing…. for some Cultures!!!!!!!
Nature has bestowed Iceland with some outstanding Characteristics, but so is our Country. India too can boast of exceptional touristy Opportunities. When will we attract these high end Tourists ???? Let’s all work to make India better….. make it the Ethical way….. the SEEGOS way.
