Being Fit for the Future…. here goes….
- Ensure you have two Bank accounts – one Nationalised and one Private. Close all other accounts and keep these two on Either or Survivor basis with your spouse.
- Check your Medical Insurance. It must cover all emergencies for spouse and you. Never know what bug hits you, when and how severe.
- Ensure inflation and taxation free income. Some current options for investments are; PPF at 8{aff5a224634bf574f692c8c7d068a0713fecca4ea38a30d3005107227dbb12e7} tax free is still the best in class; LIC – PMVY ( Pradhan Mantri Vayvandana Yojana ) max investment of 7.5 Lakhs; Central Govt subsidised 8.3{aff5a224634bf574f692c8c7d068a0713fecca4ea38a30d3005107227dbb12e7} return; Any Balanced Mutual Fund; Shares if you already in it – do not enter now; last is FDs – rates below 7{aff5a224634bf574f692c8c7d068a0713fecca4ea38a30d3005107227dbb12e7} not worth it if Income Tax payer.
- Keep all Passwords safe in a secure place. You need to constantly change them. Develop your simple Algorithm, every change a set Pattern of Numbers and special characters {-@[#. etc. Share with Spouse.
