Weddings these days, in middle class India, is fast getting multicultural, Secular and truly Indian Bride and Groom, in US, UK, Australia, Dubai… Software, ICE or whatever, Bihari Boy and Mallu girl, Mallu Girl and Rajasthani Groom, Great Fun…. last was a Gujju / Mallu, but Celebrations is the same. Sangeet, Bollywood Music, Great Fun Parties…. Event Managers…. it’s all the same dance and Booze….. no matter…. Delhi, Trivandrum, Kolkatta or Ahmedabad!!

Returning to God’s Own Country, I knew She was famous for her Backwaters, The Greenery, The Silent Valley, The Priceless Antiques of Padmanabha Swamy Temple but last week an Engineer Couple from Ohio had their betrothal under water streamed live to 2.5 Million Viewers in FB, I was told. GOD’s Own Country is voted by the Travel and Leisure Industry as the Best Honeymoon Destination in India. WOW !!!
