2017 had many significant Global and National developments. But to me the problems of Corruption, poor Governance and lack of transparency continues to hold us back from faster development.
The recent bypolls in RK Nagar constituency of Tamil Nadu was classic of the malaise. Rumours of a Twenty Rupee token and blatant cash for Votes schemes ensured the jailed Sasikala’s nephew won with more votes than the Tamilnadu legendary Goddess…. Amma.
The most hilarious comments from Former Bihar CM Lallu Prasd Yadav, now convicted in multiple Corruption cases – What’s wrong in going to Jail. Even Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Dr. Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi went to Jail.
